Tendruk Central School is proud of our under 16 boys team who participated in the Bhutan Football Federation Club Youth Championship 2025 and emerged as runners up in their categories. They achieved this success against the top youth clubs in our country. During the assembly principal sir acknowledged their talents and proudly displayed the winning trophies for the school.
Additionally, he thanked our football coach for their dedication and hard work in mentally and physically building such a strong team.
The school would also like to congratulate kinley Nyenda and Karma Jigme Wangyel for winning individual awards.
Bhutan’s First Unified Champion School Competition!
From Dec 21st–23rd, 26 of our incredible students along with teacher escorts joined UNICEF and Special Olympics Bhutan at the Thimphu Athletics Stadium to celebrate inclusion and sportsmanship.
Our Big Wins:
🥇 1st Place: Relay Boys (Tandin Pelden), Relay Girls (Nima Dema & Sonam Zangmo), Bocce Boys (Tandin Pelden), Bocce Girls (Jumuna Maya), and Boys Futsal.
🥈 2nd Place: Relay Boys (Phub Dorji & Tandin Ghalley) and Bocce Girls (Sonam Zangmo).
🥉 3rd Place: Bocce Boys (Phub Dorji), Bocce Girls (Chimi Tamang), and Girls Futsal.
We are so proud of our children for proving that when we play unified, we win together! Congratulations!
National Youth Award
Choki Wangmo, a golden youth award third runner up shared her experiences to encourage and inspire rest of the students on Friday, 02/09/22.
International Award of GLOBE Student
Prashant Biswa, a proud student of GLOBE, earned the distinguished opportunity to attend the GLOBE Annual Conference held in New York, USA, where he was also honored with a prestigious international award in recognition of his outstanding achievement.
